Obverse: The obverse of the coin depicts the lion capital of the Ashoka pillar, the legend "भारत" is inscribed below, the words "Satyameva Jayate" in Hindi in the upper left circle. The word "INDIA" in English the upper right circle. It bears the value "10" in international numerals below the lion capital, with the word "Rubai" in Hindi in the lower left periphery and the word "Rupees" in English in the lower right periphery.

Reverse: The reverse of the coin is engraved with the emblem of Reserve Bank of India, i.e. palm tree and tiger “भारतीय रिज़र्व बैंक” in Hindi, on the left periphery and “Reserve Bank of India” in English on the right periphery “प्लैटिनम जयंती” in Hindi and platinum. Beneath the emblem is written "Jubilee" and "1935-2010" in English.
